This is a fabulous pair of early 1960s Emilio Pucci stretch pants or leggings. They feature one of Pucci's wonderful geometric prints and of course the Emilio signature throughout. The print is in shades of olive green, green, ochre, orangey red, tan, brown, charcoal and white with black outlining. They have an elasticized waist. They are made of 100% Helanca.  Helanca originally was a mixture of wool and acetate, considered the first stretch fabric, but then developed in Lyon, France as a type of nylon. The label reads “Emilio Pucci – Florence – Italy – Made in Italy”. The size on the label is M for medium. Please note the following measurements, but take into consideration the stretch of the fabric: Waist - 22” unstretched, stretches out to 32” maximum - comfortable fit would be somewhere in between Length - 29” from the waist to the bottom of the leg Inner leg – 21 1/2” Condition: These are in very good condition with no noted wear, tear, soiling or staining. These early Pucci stretch pants are not common - wonderful item to add to a collection, sure to be noticed!
