On November 9, 2018, 26 students at Giddings Elementary were honored for exemplifying the character trait of Honesty. Lady Amber of the Knights of the Guild was present to present medallions to the champions at the first knighting ceremony of the 2018-19 school year. The knighting ceremony is a part of the EarlyAct/FirstKnight (EAFK) program at GES which is in its sixth year this school year. EAFK focuses on teaching the virtues embodied in the knightly code of chivalry to the students for 10 minutes each school day and putting those virtues into action. EAFK is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Giddings at no cost to the school. Congratulations to the students and their families!
