What a beautiful (former) weapon and (current) display of American history!  Heavy octogan barrel; Kentucky style one piece butt and half stock; carved cheek rest, out of one piece of truly elegant Tiger Maple.

Engraved Jacob Fisher in a flourishing script on the top flat at the back end of the barrel.  Brass capped ramrod;  solid brass fitted retainer ring and brass shoulder mount. Some wear to the wood; slight crack (but still solid) back of the brass retainer.

Hammer cocks to first set; Double set trigger does not release hammer, but can be manulipated to release.  And someone put a dang screw directly below the hammer to apparently hold the trigger assembly in.  Doesn't really show but it could have been done better

No visable serial number.  Gun #36 in this sale
