Australian PM drives first Volvo EV truck at Wacol factory - EV Talk

Australian prime minister Scott Morrison recently visited Volvo Group’s manufacturing plant at Wacol, Queensland to hear about the company’s new launches and he even got to drive Volvo’s first electric truck.  Volvo Group Australia president and chief executive Martin Merrick welcomed Morrison to the facility last Friday along with industry, science and technology federal minister Karen Andrews and road safety and freight transport assistant minister Scott Buchholz.  Morrison said seeing the truck manufacturing facility gave him “a great sense of pride about what Australians can do” and he promised to support manufacturing throughout the country.  The Wacol heavy vehicle manufacturing facility
