London's Millenium bridge is lit up by an amazing display of fireworks on the River Thames 08 June 2000. It is the first new bridge to be built in London since Tower Bridge was built in 1894. The firework display was started by the new Mayor of London Ken Livingstone and created by Frenchman Christophe Bertonneau who set the Eiffel Tower ablaze at the millenium.
