French actor Alain Delon arrives with Paris' mayor Bertrand Delanoe to attend the funeral of French actor and filmmaker Jean-Claude Brialy at Saint-Louis-en-l'Ile's church in Paris 04 June 2007. Brialy, one of the stars of New Wave cinema in the 1950s and 1960s, died aged 74, 30 May in Paris, of a long illness. With a career spanning four decades, Brialy worked with some of the best directors of his generation, including the New Wave pioneers Francois Truffaut, Louis Malle and Jean-Luc Godard.
