Residents of Hamburg, N.Y. are stuck after an early winter lake effect storm dumped heavy snow on parts of western New York state on Friday. At least two deaths have been reported, travel has been disrupted and icy powder is expected to pile higher through the weekend. “Crazy, we have been downstairs to see if we could open the door, but we could barely open the door. I can’t believe it,” Hamburg resident Mark Bialy said.
